MEMBERSHIP CONDITIONS AND REGULATIONS

Note that in this document we will use the name Secret Beauty Supply. Acceptance of membership constitutes an agreement to comply with all Secret Beauty Supply conditions and regulations, which may be amended without notice to or consent of member.

MEMBERSHIP

·        Membership is available to qualifying individuals 18 years of age or older.

·        Membership is non-transferable. Membership cards are only to be used by the individuals to whom they are issued.

·        Secret Beauty Supply reserves the right to refuse membership to any applicant.

·        Membership is revocable by Secret Beauty Supply without cause.

·        Membership fee is $10.00 12-month period from the date of enrollment. This entitles the primary member to one personalized membership card.

·        Business Membership fee is waived per 12-month period from the date of enrollment if proof is presented. This entitles the primary member to one personalized membership card. Each primary member may name additional cardholders at no additional cost.

·        All membership fees are subject to appropriate taxes.

·        Membership fee is non-refundable.

RENEWING, ADDING OR DELETING MEMBERSHIP

·        Renewal cardholder changes, including additions or deletions, must be authorized by the original primary member.

·        Renewal of membership must be completed for all cardholders when renewal is processed, regardless of the membership start date of individual secondary members. Only the primary member may renew the membership.

·        Renewal is for a 12-month period based on the month of initial enrollment, whether or not shopping privileges have been exercised.

PURCHASING PRIVILEGES, GUESTS AND OTHER RULES

·        No sales will be made to any person unless such a person has a valid membership card.

·        Each cardholder may bring two guests. However, guests do NOT have purchasing privileges.

·        Secret Beauty Supply can refuse entry to anyone at any time at its discretion. This includes members who do not display their Secret Beauty Supply membership card when requested.

·        Members will be required to purchase any packages opened or damaged by them or their guests.

TERMS OF PAYMENT

·        All purchases must be made by cash, debit card, Secret Beauty Supply gift certificate, VISA, Master Card & preprinted business cheque, with approved credit application.

Secret Beauty Supply does not accept any other credit card as form of payment. Business Members can make purchases with preprinted business cheques. To pay by cheque, applicants must present two appropriate pieces of identification with their membership application. Cheques must be in the exact amount. All cheques must be issued on member’s chequing account. Cheques must be drawn on a Canadian financial institution account and preprinted with the member’s name, address and telephone number. Any exceptions to cheque cashing rules must be pre-approved in writing by a representative of Secret Beauty Supply.

·        Secret Beauty Supply reserves the right to require cash payment from certain members at its discretion.

·        For all purchases made by cheque, the member may be required to show identification as mentioned above.

·        A penalty of $20.00 will be assessed for any cheque returned by a member’s financial institution.

·        The primary member is responsible for all his/her personal cheques and is jointly and severally (solidarily) liable for all cheques issued.

·        Each secondary member is responsible for his/her personal cheques.

·        Title to all merchandise passes to the member at the check stand after merchandise has been checked out. Thereafter, the member bears the risk of loss for such merchandise, except for willful or negligent acts of Secret Beauty Supply or its employees.

·        No minimum amount for in store purchases.

SALES TAX (BUSINESS MEMBERS)

·       Sales tax (GST, HST, QST or PST) will be charged on all taxable transactions in accordance with all applicable laws. The member agrees, in the event of his failure to pay such tax, to hold harmless and indemnify from any claim, loss, assessment, or expense occasioned by such non-payment. Members purchasing merchandise for resale must advise the cashier of this before the sale is recorded in the cash register. If the member is purchasing for resale, he will need to complete the application certificate at the time of his purchase. Sales tax will not be charged at the time of purchase only those products the member states are specifically for resale.

·       If any product is purchased on a sales tax exemption basis and is used in any manner which qualifies it as a taxable item, the member agrees to report and pay any tax due, including any penalties.

·       Depending on the applicable provincial law, primary members must present, when signing up, proof of their provincial tax number regarding merchandise they desire to purchase for resale on a tax-exempt. In the event that secondary members will need to use these tax numbers, the primary member must give written permission of this at the time of signing up.

CHANGES

In order to receive information about (renewals, new services, etc.), you must advise a staff member at the store Membership Counter of any change of address, phone number, company name or any change concerning tax exemptions.

LOST OR STOLEN CARDS

If a membership card is lost or stolen, the cardholder must immediately notify the Membership Counter or phone us at 1-888-711-8889. If a credit card is lost or stolen, the cardholder must immediately call the credit company associated to that card.

PRIVACY STATEMENT

Secret Beauty Supply is committed to protecting the privacy of its customers. See Customer Privacy Statement, opposite.

CHILD SAFETY

·        Parents are responsible for their children at all times and must be seated in the designated waiting area.

WARRANTY AND RETURN POLICY

·        If you purchase an item that is defective. We ask that you return the merchandise:

-          In the original packaging;

-          With a Secret Beauty Supply receipt.

·        Merchandise that is under manufacturer’s warranty will be subject to that warranty.

·        Secret Nail provides a 6 month warranty period only for electrical products purchased directly from Secret Nail.

·        Where applicable, remaining warranty is with manufacturer.

·        This warranty shall not apply to products that are damaged from abuse, negligence, or shipping damage.

·        All returns must be presented with valid Secret Beauty Supply receipt.

·        Secret Nail guarantees our products 100% against manufacturer defects. If there is a manufacturer defect, contact customer service within 7 days of receipt for product replacement or full in-store credit.

·        All other returns are only accepted if in original condition / packaging for a full credit within 7 days of receipt of goods. Discontinued / Specials / Clearance items and chemical products excluded.

·        Secret Nail does not accept responsibility for shipping charges on returns.

·        Absolutely no refunds.

·        All sales are final.

INSPECTION

Secret Beauty Supply reserves the right to inspect any container, backpack, briefcase, bag or other package when our members and their guests enter or leave our store. Our members and their guests consent to such inspections when they enter our store.

RECEIPTS

You will be asked to show your receipt for the items you purchased at the store exit. This ensures that our cashiers processed the items you purchased correctly and that you have been properly charged for your purchases. It is also one of our most effective methods of maintaining accuracy in inventory control.

RESTRICTIONS

·        Use of cameras or tape recorders, or recording of prices in any manner is not permitted. Offenders will be asked to leave the premises and their membership may be revoked.

·        There shall be no solicitation for any purpose on premises, nor interference with employees. Offenders will be asked to leave the premises and their membership may be revoked.

·        Smoking is prohibited at Secret Beauty Supply.

CREDIT

If you choose to pay cheque, you authorize to disclose and collect personal information relating to your credit history and credit status to and from credit-reporting agencies, credit bureaus and financial institutions in order to assess your creditworthiness.

If you choose to pay by debit or credit card, you authorize Secret Beauty Supply to disclose and collect personal information to and from the debit card and/or credit card issuer in order to process the transaction.

ORDERING

 

• Minimum orders of $100.00 are required for shipping.
• Orders are taken through phone, fax, or online.
• Payment through Visa or MasterCard.
• Payment will be applied at time of invoicing.

·        Prices are subject to change without notice.

·        All prices listed are in Canadian funds.

SHIPPING

 

• Purchaser is responsible for all shipping costs.
• Shipping costs depends on the estimated weight of the items ordered , we will give you the estimated shipping costs . We ship by Canada Post or Purolator . You can advise us for express shipment otherwise we will ship it by regular . Please check and tell me what you think .
• In-stock items will be shipped within 48 hours.
• It is the responsibility of the purchaser to make all shipping damage claims with the courier. Shipping insurance is highly recommended.
